Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!
I hope that 2009 brings everyone health and happiness. I hope that the economy can turnaround brefore more people lose their jobs. I hope the President Obama stays safe, focused and is able to do his job. I hope that California repeals the passage of Prop 8, we have all come so far to take a giant step backwards.

For myself 2008 brought many things....I became unemployed for the first time in nearly 25 years. Which wasn't really a bad thing...I was able to focus on the more important things in life, which always took a backseat to my career. I was able to re-establish an old friendship with a friend who now needs me as she handles a terminal illness. I started a blog...which a year ago I had no idea what one was. And my daughter won on the Price is Right...which was an awesome, once in a lifetime event. I attended a few weddings, some beautiful babies were born and there were some losses of friends and family.

So here is to 2009!! I am getting ready to embark on a new career! And I know that this year will also bring happiness and sadness....but I know it will also bring change for our Country and I hope that this is the year that all of our service men and women in the Middle East get to come home safely.
