Ok...I caved in, I admit I'm weak!!

So a couple of days ago I was at Costco, one of my favorito hangouts...and I love to peruse the book area. I love to take my time.....glance thru books...read a little here and there.....and before I knew it one was screaming at me... BUY ME...BUY ME....TAMMY, BUY ME!!!
And guess which book it was.....

Yep, the same book that I had written a post about.......Marcia Brady, whom I wanted to be most like as a young girl, the one with the perfect parents, perfect clothes, perfect hair...she got to date Davy Jones and Desi Arnaz Jr. Now she is airing her dirty laundry for all to see....and I was sucked up, enticed, entralled...needed to know the scoop and I couldn't help it!! I glanced thru the book and just couldn't put it down.
Ok, so if you wanna know...she was addicted to cocaine, would have sex for drugs (oh, Marcia) and she didn't have sex with Greg (thank goodness....I think that might have scarred me for life!)
So Marcia wasn't so perfect after all...how disappointing.

Nothing worse than finding out your idol is nothing to write home about.
We all aren't perfect!
But...
She kicked the habit. That's something to talk about.

Some tell all books are good if they aren't done for shock value. I really want to read that one, or maybe see the movie..

FYI, I remember that earthquake!! My brother-in-law was in the Bay Area working on the Nimitz Freeway when the earthquake hit during the World Series between the Oakland A's and SF Giants. The staduim had a lot of damage I think. Portions of that freeway collapsed and several people were killed. So sad....and way worse than a storm!

I knew you wouldn't be able to resist. Hey I once bought Loni Anderson's tell all and Liesl from the Sound of Music...go figure.

Marcia, Marcia, Marcia! I was wondering about her. Poor childhood actors, they usually lead troubled adult lives.

So you bought the book. :)

Hi Fishin' Mama! I want to thank you for the incredibly kind comments that you left on The Jason Show. I especially appreciate this type of feedback from people who don't really know me, but have taken the time to read my story.

And welcome! I'm very glad to have you, and I'll be back soon to check out the rest of your blog.
